  • Install nfs-common using sudo apt install nfs-common
  • Create a space where you want to mount. For eg., I want to mount in /mnt/NitinSpace. Execute sudo mkdir /mnt/NitinSpace.
  • Give mount space premissions. sudo chmod -R 777 NitinSpace/ in /mnt.
  • Add this line to /etc/fstab: # Mount NAS 192.168.1.179:/nfs/NitinSpace /mnt/NitinSpace nfs rw,hard,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14 0 0 (Change the IP and space name).
