Changelog:

  • Added the ability for chart creators to change the note colors.
    • Fields are note_color_start and note_color_end in song.tmb
  • Video backgrounds can now be easily added to charts by placing a bg.mp4 file in a song folder
  • Added Tromboners to the Background project, giving chart creators the ability to change where the player is, create clones of the player, etc
    • The Tromboner skin & Trombone skins can both be overridden to create a tromboner that looks different from the player
  • Minor bug fixes

Installation

Step 1: Install BepInEx
Download latest BepinEx release and extract the contents of BepinEx_x64_VERSION.zip directly into the root of the Trombone Champ folder, IE C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TromboneChamp\

Step 2: Patch Trombone Champ with BepInEx
Run the game once to install BepinEx properly.

Step 3: Install the TrombLoader plugin
Download the latest release from Releases, and under the "assets" section, download TrombLoader.dll and put it into the BepInEx/plugins folder that was created in Step 2. IE: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TromboneChamp\BepInEx\plugins
