Cloak - Screen-Sharing Invisible AI Assistant

A native Electron app with dual modes: Gemini Chat (text) and Vapi Interview (voice). The window remains visible to you but invisible to screen sharing.

This app uses Electron's setContentProtection(true) which successfully hides the window from:

• Zoom, Teams, Discord screen sharing
• macOS screen recording
• Most screen capture tools

Quick Start

1. Install dependencies:

pnpm install

2. Configure API keys in .env:

GEMINI_API_KEY=your_gemini_key
VAPI_PUBLIC_KEY=your_vapi_public_key
VAPI_ASSISTANT_ID=your_vapi_assistant_id

3. Run the app:

pnpm start

Usage

Switching Modes

• Use the left sidebar to toggle between Gemini Chat and Vapi Interview

Gemini Chat Mode

• Type your message and press Ctrl+Enter or click Send Message
• AI responds with text

Vapi Interview Mode

• Click Start Interview to begin voice conversation
• Speak naturally - your voice is transcribed in real-time
• AI responds with voice
• Click End Interview to stop

Configuration

Edit .env file:
