The BEL Editor is no longer maintained by OpenBEL committers. Pull requests will however be accepted and the OpenBEL Build Server will continue to operate as normal. Developers are available on the OpenBEL Discussion Group for help regarding pull requests and BEL Editor builds.
The BEL Editor allows you to explore BEL and the BEL Framework, from the syntax and semantics of the BEL language to the compilation of BEL knowledge into KAMs.
The BEL Editor uses the Indigo release of Eclipse (version 3.7.x). Installation and upgrades are handled from Eclipse. To install the BEL Editor in your version of Eclipse, see the OpenBEL Eclipse repository. For detailed instructions, see Getting Started in the wiki.
