WEBKIT_HAS_WPE_PLATFORM_APIמקשרת תוכנית-מבחן מולlibWPEWebKit. הלינקר דורש לפתור גם את התלויות הפנימיות (DT_NEEDED) של הספרייה — למשל SDK שנבנה על Debian bookworm מצהיר עלlibicu*.so.72,libjpeg.so.62וכו'. על מארח עם גרסאות אחרות (Ubuntu noble = ICU 74) הקישור נכשל, הבדיקה מדווחת בטעות שאין WPEPlatform, הקוד נופל ל-FDO שלא מותקן, והבנייה נכשלת ב-"Neither WPEPlatform nor WPEBackend-FDO found" — למרות שסביבת הריצה תקינה לחלוטין (התלויות מגיעות מ-bundle/lib).שוחזר בפועל בבנייה-מהמקור על Ubuntu 24.04 מול ה-WPE SDK של ה-CI; העקיפה הידנית שנדרשה הייתה
LD_LIBRARY_PATHאל ספריות ה-deb המותקן.התיקון
-Wl,--allow-shlib-undefinedעל קישור תוכנית-המבחן בלבד — הבדיקה שואלת רק "האם ה-API קיים", ואין סיבה שתיכשל על תלויות טרנזיטיביות שלא רלוונטיות לה. ה-CI (שבונה על bookworm) לא מושפע; מפתחים על הפצות אחרות מפסיקים להיתקע.שינוי של שורה אחת + הערה, במסלול הבדיקה בלבד — לא משפיע על קישור הפלאגין עצמו.
