v4 is now an external link (with associated symbol); not sure if we can easily change this?

I think it makes sense that its an external link. I don't think theres a way to change that

LGTM. I think this is good, but just want to point out that there are other ways we can surface this (instead or in addition to) if you have other preferences.
- Button/admonition on the index page
- Banner announcement at the top of the website (which we use as a warning in the v4 docs)
