Why save it as an md file instead of a notebook? It's a bit harder to review like this

SURF environment YAML file updated to be in sync with the latest
environment.ymlfile (addressing #199).I have also updated the tutorial documentation for setting up the SURF environment in-class (just small tweaks). Once I can test the virtual environments on SURF I can return to these and make any final changes.
