I’m Phaneesh Katti, a cybersecurity enthusiast and a masters graduate student at IIT Delhi, specializing in advanced cybersecurity strategies, malware analysis, and secure system design. My journey in tech revolves around exploring vulnerabilities, crafting secure environments, and pushing the boundaries of digital defense.

Here are some of my key projects that showcase my expertise in cybersecurity:

• Malware Artifacts Analysis (Capstone)
  Delved into how malware exploits system artifacts like DLLs and file systems. Investigated code injection techniques and potential abuse vectors, providing a comprehensive understanding of modern malware capabilities.

• Secure Messaging with AES-256:
  Built a secure client-server messaging app implementing AES-256 encryption, PBKDF2 key derivation, and SQLite storage to ensure confidentiality and integrity.

• Network Monitoring and Alerting with Wazuh:
  Configured and deployed Wazuh for real-time intrusion detection, log analysis, and compliance monitoring across virtualized environments.

• CTF Challenges and Vulnerability Exploits:
  Documented solutions and techniques used in Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, ranging from reverse engineering to web exploitation and privilege escalation.
