- i added support for RDS files for base R objects
- also datacubes can be exported as .rds but they are currently just turned into a JSON-Object

What are your main use cases for saving in RDS?? |
The main use case is exporting trained machine learning models as RDS. As the models are trained in R, this is currently the best option to provide access to users of the backend. |
Cool, for saving and loading ml models I recommend implementing APIs closer to the ones in this openEO-processes pull request |
