DeFi - Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform

DeFi - Campaign is a blockchain-powered decentralized crowdfunding platform that ensures transparency, security, and accountability. Unlike traditional platforms, funds are only released when milestones are met and approved by backers, eliminating fraud and mismanagement. With cross-chain support and reactive smart contracts, it enables global participation with reduced fees and automated fund governance.

🚀 Problem It Solves

Traditional crowdfunding platforms lack transparency and accountability. Once backers contribute, they have no control over fund usage, which can lead to mismanagement or fraud. Centralized platforms also impose high fees, delays, and restrictions, making global participation difficult.

🔥 Our Solution

Our decentralized crowdfunding platform ensures that funds are released only when milestones are met and backers approve the request. Smart contracts automate verification, eliminating fraud and enhancing financial integrity.

🔄 Reactive Smart Contracts & Automation

Our platform utilizes Reactive Smart Contracts, ensuring seamless automation of crucial operations. These contracts dynamically respond to blockchain events, eliminating manual intervention and enhancing trust in crowdfunding.

🚀 Implementation in the Main Branch

In the Main Branch, we implemented Reactive Smart Contracts inside the Campaign.sol file. Here’s how it automates the crowdfunding process:

  • Automatic Fund Release: When a spending request gains more than 50% approval from backers, the contract automatically finalizes the transaction and transfers funds to the recipient.
  • Threshold-Based Request Creation: Once a campaign reaches its minimum funding threshold, the campaign owner is automatically allowed to create spending requests.
  • Real-Time Event Monitoring: The contract continuously listens for state changes (e.g., approvals, contributions) and executes predefined conditions accordingly.

This automation eliminates fraudulent activities and enforces transparency without needing a third-party administrator.

🌍 Implementation in the Cross-Chain Campaign Branch

In the Cross-Chain Campaign Branch, we extended Reactive Smart Contracts to support cross-chain transactions by integrating LayerZero & Chainlink CCIP. Here’s how it enhances automation:

  • Automated Cross-Chain Contributions: When a user contributes from one blockchain, the contract automatically triggers a bridging mechanism to transfer funds securely to the campaign on another chain.
  • Decentralized Oracles & Messaging Protocols: The contract leverages oracles to fetch real-time blockchain data and execute transactions only when required conditions are met.
  • Dynamic State Synchronization: Funds, approvals, and requests are synchronized across multiple chains, ensuring that campaign backers see the same data regardless of their network.

By combining reactive automation with cross-chain interoperability, our platform provides borderless crowdfunding with real-time transparency and security.


This approach transforms crowdfunding governance, removing inefficiencies seen in traditional platforms and ensuring that blockchain-backed pledges remain tamper-proof, decentralized, and automated.

Clone the Repository

Install Dependencies

npm install

Compile & Deploy Smart Contracts

npx hardhat compile
npx hardhat run scripts/deploy.js --network sepolia

Run the Development Server

npm run dev
