Hello,

Thank you for your PR.

As you add a configuration value during the install, you need to create an install file in the upgrade folder.
You can find more information here : http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Enabling+the+Auto-Update
You don't need to change the version number in the PHP module file.
