How to report issue

If you've imported a map, model, or any other asset and notice issues such as missing textures or parts of the map or just an error in general, please follow these steps to report it to developers:

  1. Open the Blender System Console:

    • Navigate to the Window menu.
    • Select Toggle System Console to open it.
  2. Copy Console Output:

    • Copy all the text from the console. Feel free to omit or replace your name and any other personal information you prefer to keep private.
  3. Send the logs to developers:

    • You can report the issue by sending a message on the SourceIO Discord server or creating an issue on GitHub.
  4. Include Detailed Information:

    • In your message or issue report, specify the game, the name of the model/map, and the source of these files.
    • If the map/model isn't publicly available, consider sending it to user RED_EYE on the SourceIO server.
  5. Attach Console Output:

    • Append the copied console text to your message.
    • Please refrain from attaching screenshots of the console. Textual information is preferred as screenshots often fail to capture all necessary details for diagnosing your issue.

By following these steps, you provide information that can significantly aid in understanding and resolving your issue efficiently.
