This PR is currently stuck while I figure out how to get the /v1/ redirect/branch (presently named release/v1.4.5) to be recognized by Netlify.

I've tried a couple of variations on the branch deploy prefix, but nothing is catching. Given the semver format of the branch name, I wonder if it has to do with the name having . periods in it. I assume that those would be sluggified to - in the URL.

Before I make that update here (again), I was attempting to validate the branch deployment first on Netlify, but having no luck triggering that branch deploy.
