Do not open a public GitHub issue for security vulnerabilities.

Instead, please email the maintainers directly or use GitHub's private vulnerability reporting.

When reporting a vulnerability, please include:

• A description of the vulnerability
• Steps to reproduce the issue
• The potential impact
• Any suggested fixes (if applicable)

We will acknowledge receipt of your report within 48 hours and aim to provide a fix or mitigation plan within 7 days for critical issues.

Security updates are applied to the latest release. We recommend always running the most recent version of Synergy.
