System Settings
You can access system settings from Configure Settings -> System Settings.
Determines the kind of penalty to apply for PCs wearing armor.
- Increased Speed Effort: default value. Wearing armor increases the cost of using Speed Effort.
- Reduce Speed Pool, Might cost per hour: wearing armor reduces the size of your Speed pool and incurs a cost of a certain number of Might points per hour it's worn. That information is not computed automatically: it is visible under your Armor score at the top of the PC sheet.
- Don't take armor penalties into account for rolls and calculations: ignore any penalty or handle them yourself.
Character Sheet version to use.
- Numenera: default value. Has a "Numenera" tab containing Oddities.
- The Strange: has a "Strange" tab for cyphers and artifacts, as well as a "Recursions" tab for listing the Recursions the PC visited, its laws, focus, etc.
Select the cypher types to use.
- None: default value. Cypher do not have a type.
- Anoetic/Occultic: use these two types of cyphers.
- Subtle/fantastic/manifest: use these three types of cyphers.
Controls the behavior of dice rolling for tasks, either from Roll buttons on the PC sheet or from macros.
- Output plain task level success without modifiers: default value. Die rolls will simply display the task level you've achieve on that die roll, regardless of any modifiers (eg. skill levels, assets, etc.)
- Output task level success, adding modifiers: Die rolls will add any known modifiers (eg. skill levels, assets, etc.) Does not apply to rolls with a fixed task level, when using the Effort dialog.
If checked, will allow players to use their recoveries in any order, which is a very popular house rule. Otherwise, recoveries must be used in order, from the shortest to the longest one.
Select a permission level. All users with a level equal or greater than that one will be able to edit their own cypher and artifact information. Defaults to GAMEMASTER.
Measurement unit to use for distances on a map.
If activated, display skill icons, which may be customized in the related item sheet.
If activated, display ability icons, which may be customized in the related item sheet.
If activated, display cypher, artifact and oddity icons, which may be customized in the related item sheet.
If activated, display equipment icons, which may be customized in the related item sheet.
The currency to use in your game. Defaults to "shins".
