Details:

  1. Using dgVoodoo 2, game loads fine.
  2. Using SKIF and "sledgehammer" config, SKIF starts service, game does not load.
  3. No crash log is generated.

Can't reproduce any problems :-
Vanilla, the game just works.

You probably want to use DXVK for D3D9 either way.

Was using dgVoodoo 2 to be able to use Special K HDR Retrofit.

Does using DXVK allow the use of Special K HDR Retrofit? Using AMD GPU here.

It might(try using an injection delay), but if it does not you can use this for remastering and swap chain conversions.
