The Story So Far
Using Enamine's REAL compound library, a virtual screening was performed by Konstantin Popov (@kipUNC), of which 192 were flagged - selection here. 70 compounds were purchased for biological assessment in an unwindase assay and antiviral assay. (@alvaro-magalhaes could you ensure we have some details somewhere about what this assay is - ideally a protocol in file diary. Delete this comment when done).
57 of the 70 compounds were tested in the unwinding assay and none were active - data here. (Compound RA-0001822 was used as a control, a known active from a parallel project).
The 57 compounds were also tested on antiviral assay vs CHIKV and vs VEEV and the highest inhibition observed @ 40 uM was of 29 % vs CHIKV. Data can be found here.
Unfortunately, none of the purchased compounds showed any promising activity, therefore this CNP will be closed for now.
