A Task/Agent call used to show up as a tiny "Task" tool beat. Now it's a subagent event: the editor pane shows the subagent type, its task, how many tool calls it made (from totalToolUseCount in the tool result) and types out what it returned.

  • tokens: sidechain usage is still skipped, so the subagent's tokens aren't added twice
  • task and result go through redaction and trimming like other text
  • sessions without Task calls render the same as before
  • tests for the parser, token count and storyboard
