Class Changes

Sorcerers and Wizards

  • Familiars have been reworked. See here. If you are not satisfied with your familiar, you can change it for free by talking to Eltoora at the Cloaktower in Neverwinter.

Rangers and Druids

  • Having at least one class in either ranger or druid will reduce the chance of a resting ambush. This is also applied party wide.
  • Animal Companions have been reworked. See here. If you are not satisfied with your animal companion, you can change it for free by talking to Nyatar at the Great Tree in Neverwinter.

Druids and Shifters

  • All shapes should merge with all items, including weapons.

Monks

  • Quarterstaves and shurikens now count as monk weapons alongside kamas.

Clerics and Blackguards

  • Evil clerics and blackguards can dominate undead instead of destroying them. They can only control a total number of undead with a combined HD equal to or less than the clerics level.

Shadowdancers

  • Hide in Plain Sight has a cooldown of 10 seconds, which is reduced by 1 second for every level of shadowdancer you have. For example, if you are a 5th level Shadowdancer, Hide in Plain Sight has a cooldown of only 5 seconds.

Proposed Changes

  • Palemaster and RDD levels count towards arcane spellcasting
  • Class summons do not count towards summon limit, including palemaster summon undead, blackguard summon fiend, and shadowdancer summon shadow. They are also buffed/rebalanced.
  • Shifter: Lizardfolk shape loses Freedom of Movement, gains regeneration (+2 or +3)
  • Shifter: Wyrmlings lose true seeing
  • Shifter: Weapons are reduced to +1
  • Druid wildshape: Some shapes are buffed/reworked
  • Harper Scout: Un-nerfed invisibility
