Transfer funds to allies in multiplayer games

I wondering that will be a good addon to be able to transfer funds to an broken ally in a multiplayer game.

Warcraft 3 allows this feature in multiplayer team games.

Adding this to Generals can have a big impact on the team games... not sure if this feature should be enabled by default as it will just change the gameplay.

Maybe we can add an option for "Transfer Funds between Team member", which will be disabled by default. But the host can enable it.

I agree, it should be an option for the host to decide.

I'm pretty sure there are mechanics in the game for sending money to allies that would be made pointless by this option?

I think the repo doesn't need to have it as a new feature.

In TEOD mod(The End of Days), a player can transfer money to another player, already. You can drop supply gifts near your member's base, then your member can take it by moving any unit. I recommend to play the mod using GenLauncher.
It means it isn't a problem of the repo and exe. I think, you can add a new feature by adding new AI scripts or assets, not modifying exe.

You can not, in fact, add new features by modifying assets or scripts; you can only use existing mechanics to cobble together something that is close enough to your needs, while dealing with the downsides and scrapping other parts of the idea that were not feasible.

Features implemented on an engine level will always be superior. Whether it's in scope for this project is a different matter entirely.

I recommend to play TEOD mod. Its transferring money feature is perfect and realistic. I think the game doesn't need any native improvement for it.

Actually, I want to mention this. The game actually have unused voice lines from EVA for this scenario.
