Crash on startup: caused by Rockstar Games Launcher #355
Comments
expecting a proper reply from rockstar support :clueless: these guys are useless as shit, though i'll be surprised if they actually bother with the issue |
Does this happen when launching from Steam? No crashes on plain RGL for me. Never had any issues either. |
Having the same issue, I need to launch the game a couple of times to get into the game. |
well i checked the event holder and found out it is having issue opening asi file if you want to see log file i got here: compare them guys if we got same errors i got steam full completed edition gta 4 version 1.20.59 as it states in gta4.exe Plus i think this could be related to gta 4 remastering edition comming out soon from rockstart and they are trying to lock out mods that are working on base game. |
And if you remove in game files file in plugins asi file the game opens fine check it if you got same behaivour so we can slowly find the way out. |
I'm having this issue, except it doesn't just do it a few times and lets me play the game eventually. It does it every. single. time. I've verified my files, I've tried launching it through rgl through steam back to rgl. I've tried redownloading and reinstalling fusionfix without any mods. I've even tried older versions. I've checked the EXE properties to see if it was the most recent version, and it was. Nothing works! I'd really like it if either I could get a solution, or this gets fixed in the next update. |
