I had noticed that the game with sunshafts can look incredibly well, but it misses the added touch of better looking sky/clouds. I had found a temporary bandaid solution to this by getting ENB clouds working for the most part. How I did this was by copying the root gamefolder ENB files into the root gamefolder, then only using the gta_atmoscatt_clouds.fxc shader file so I could benefit from all the other things fusionfix fixed and improved on which includes better performance as well.
The issue here is that I believe the sunshafts now are buggy, or do not work as they should, only working when I move the sun to the edge of my screen or something. With the default ENB timecyc it seems to kinda work better but not really, and it basically blinds you.
Now my question is if something like better sky/clouds can be implemented by the FusionFix team so the clouds complements the great looking sunshafts in the game. It doesn't have to be volumetric or other intensive looking monsters, but perhaps better than what is possible through timecyc editing alone in simple ways. I don't like that I have to rely on ENB which is also discouraged by practically the whole IV modding community by now, especially if you combine it in a sentence with FusionFix and/or DXVK.
If I said something wrong or left out information which may have been helpful then forgive me, I am not that mature of a modder or technicality well-versed on the game.
I have provided pictures and video's of how the game looked when I had this setup which describe best what I've found. It shows the sunshafts working when at the edges of your screen, but not when the sun is directly in sight. Or maybe I am an idiot and doing something wrong which is also highly possible.
What should happen
Hello there,
