Game "breaks" after every mission #678
Comments
Looks like streaming issues. Do you have any other mods installed and tried without them? And are you sure you hdd is not corrupt or your cpu/gpu/ram aint sitting at max usage? |
Streaming issues caused by a possible memory leak I'd say |
I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience, apparently the game has been using 55% of my CPU and it might been reaching 100% after missions Any tips on how to decrease CPU usage? I kind of need it ^^; |
Get a computer that isn't from the stone age, maybe? Are you using a Core 2 Duo or a Pentium or a 2009 i3? If a 12 year old I7 and an 11 year old Nvidia card can run this game fine with FF/CV and a few other things then you must be running some real caveman/third worlder shit setup. |
bro those are some high end luxurious stuff I use a hamster on a wheel to power up my pc lol |
to be honest, its weird to see such CPU usage spike just from completing mission. Maybe its some other application doing this. Play in windowed mode and keep task manager open over IV (there is option to keep it always on top.) and sort the processes by CPU. Maybe you will get your answer. |
Seems like he is using Liberty Tweak's "Save Location". |
Game version this happens in
v1.2.0.59
What area of the game
So, whenever I finish a mission from the story (side missions don't count), suddenly the map textures take ages to load or simply don't load at all, so I'm walking around with buildings missing or textures simply ruined, and whenever I try to start another mission or get a loading screen, it either take ages to load and I simply have to close the game and reopen using the task manager, or it actually loads, but the map is not loading or the textures are flawed so I have to restart the game either way
What should happen
Normally, after I finish a mission, I should be able to save my progress and go on, with no issues on the textures and not having to wait an eternity for the game to finish loading (and it should actually load, not throw me in the middle of liberty city with no buildings around and civilians walking on nothing)
