I made a PR as requested by Schurli. Using MDG in Xplat too will share caches with the NeoForge project, and will also allow adding support for Parchment if you are interested. (See https://github.com/neoforged/ModDevGradle?tab=readme-ov-file#better-minecraft-parameter-names--javadoc-parchment)
