#IPA(internal power automation) is only for ppc team. The structure of this tool is same with that of polarion, the requirement id and case id are same with polarion requirement id and case id, for example: ==>ipa-->virtkvmqe-->migration_test_plan-->migration-->test_requirement -->ppc64le-->rhel7_58700.yaml ==>ipa-->virtkvmqe-->migration_test_plan-->migration-->test_scenarios -->rhel7_10022.py I. Firstly, create test environment a)Firstly, you should execute "Bootstrap.sh" as following to install some required packages for test environment: ==>sh Bootstrap.sh b)Secondly, if it is needed, you could execute "Bootstrap-network.sh" to configure network bridge, sure, you could ignore this step: ==>sh Bootstrap-network.sh c)Thirdly, if you are going to test multi-host migration, you need to execute "Bootstrap-migration.sh" to configure source host and destination host: ==>sh Bootstrap-migration.sh please input the src host ip:xx.xx.xx.xx please input the dst host ip:xx.xx.xx.xx please input the share_images_dir:/home/xianwang Notice: src host ip: the source host ip dst host ip: the destination host ip share_images_dir: the direction to put system image and other data disks II. Begin to execute test case a)For local host test cases, for example virtio-block feature test, the only one parameter "test_requirement" must be specified, for example: ==>python Start2Run.py --test_requirement=rhel7_51215_matrix_virtio_scsi_iscsi the above command will execute all the test cases that linked to this requirement, if you want to execute some specific cases, you should use option: ==>python Start2Run.py --test_requirement=rhel7_51215_matrix_virtio_scsi_iscsi --test_cases=rhel7_11911_virtio_scsi_local,rhel7_11912_virtio_scsi_iscsi b)For multi-host migration test, the following parameters must be specified: ==>python Start2Run.py --test_requirement=rhel7_58700 --test_cases=rhel7_10022 --src_host_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --dst_host_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --share_images_dir=/home/xianwang --sys_image_name=rhel75-ppc64le-virtio-scsi.qcow2 if there are installation cases in this loop, the parameters about nfs server must be specified as following: ==>python Start2Run.py --test_requirement=rhel7_58700 --src_host_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --dst_host_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --share_images_dir=/home/xianwang --sys_image_name=rhel75-ppc64le-virtio-scsi.qcow2 --nfs_bos_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --nfs_pek_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx c)The option "repeat_times" allows us to run loop or cases for some times ==>python Start2Run.py --test_requirement=rhel7_58700 --test_cases=rhel7_10022 --src_host_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --dst_host_ip=xx.xx.xx.xx --share_images_dir=/home/xianwang --sys_image_name=rhel75-ppc64le-virtio-scsi.qcow2 --repeat_times=3 III.Log a)Test log is put in mouse/test_logs, 'latest' is the last time test log, one log direction is for one time test. For each log direction, there is four files: long_debug.log, paramiko.log, serial_debug.log and short_debug.log. b)you could upload test logs to nfs server(bos server or pek server) by the following method: # python import2nfs.py -s=rhel7_109999-2018-06-29-06:50:34 -d=/xianwang/test or # python import2nfs.py -s=latest -d=/xianwang/test or # python import2nfs.py -d=/xianwang/test or # python import2nfs.py Notice: s:the source log directory that you want to upload, you must give an valid value which is in /test_logs, for example 'latest', the default value is "latest" d:the destination log directory that you want to upload to; if you don't assign value to "-d", it will check whether "/home/job_env.txt" is none, the content of this file will be the destination directory, the priority of the value of "-d" is higher than "/home/job_env.txt"; it that file is none, it will use "imported-logs" as destination directory. *:if you don't add "-d" and "/home/job_env.txt" is none, it will upload "latest" to "imported-logs"
