Code of Conduct for Open Source Projects on GitHub

Table of Contents

1. Purpose

As contributors and maintainers of this open source project, our goal is to create a friendly and inclusive environment where everyone can collaborate and contribute effectively. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behavior and aims to help create and maintain a safe and productive environment for all members.

2. Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all participants in this open source project, including contributors, maintainers, and anyone participating in discussions, issues, pull requests, and other project-related activities.

3. Expected Behavior

We expect all participants to:

4. Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated and includes, but is not limited to:

  • Conduct intended to harass, intimidate, or discriminate against any individual
  • Use of offensive, derogatory, or inappropriate language or images
  • Unwelcome or nonconsensual physical contact
  • Invasion of privacy, publication of private communication, or doxing
  • Deliberate disruption of the project, including spamming or trolling
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation based on race, color, nationality, religion, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or appearance

5. Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to the project maintainers by email or other available communication channels. Project maintainers are responsible for addressing any reported issues, which may include taking appropriate actions such as warnings, temporary or permanent banning, and involvement of law enforcement.

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, or other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct, and they are expected to treat all individuals fairly and consistently.
