Simplify app UI and insights while preserving source and confidence #48

Description

@adidshaft

Product brief — latest Claude session, 2026-09-23

Keep the app straightforward, concise and easy to grasp. The session dispatched a UI subagent, but no completed result or physical acceptance is established by this repository audit. Coordinate with that work before starting overlapping edits.

Acceptance

  • Review Today, health detail, activity/workout, sleep, trends, widgets and Live Activity as one flow; lead with the value or unavailable state and one useful explanation.
  • Remove duplicate recaps and long generic prose; expose deeper source, confidence and blocker details on demand.
  • Keep personal-baseline, reference-validated and research-only states distinct. Do not present Mac-only R10/R11 research as an available iPhone feature.
  • Use the same cycle/day/workout authority across summaries and details; preserve missing-data gaps and avoid stale fallback values.
  • Cover loading, unavailable, stale, empty history, large Dynamic Type and VoiceOver states.
  • Attach before/after screenshots and focused checks. Verify actual Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and widgets on device for runtime/display claims tracked in [Bug] Running Live Activity, widgets, and workout-start HR/IMU must stay current on device #45.

Related: #5 (trend confidence), #25 (sleep review), #34 (nightly panel), #38 (day browsing), #45 (runtime surfaces). A wording/layout pass does not close those evidence gates.
