This is a quality-of-life improvement that makes it easier to work with stimulus-autocomplete in a dynamic environment and also easier to inherit from for additional functionality.

These callbacks have existed since v3.0.0 (September 24th, 2021) so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect people to be using a version released since then.
