This is a WIP.
We were seeing high latencies when users were loading data for 7+ days in Grafana. The bottleneck was the TimeSeriesAggregationOperator as expected. As I am looking to optimize it, one of the approaches I wanted to try was removing the operator altogether and leveraging pinot-core functions. This is anyways something required in the long term as this would be the "proper implementation", as I don't think we will go for a generic pluggable engine in the future.
