This update enhances the release instructions by adding a reminder for release managers to review and update end-of-maintenance dates as part of the release process.

I've always found release instructions too long, to the point that I stop reading after a couple of words in a bullet. Suggested changes are good intended, yet not precise, e.g., "do this in this folder". Even though I was the one who requested these changes to accommodate apache/logging-log4j2#3341, let's keep things short and peppy, and see if it blows up on an RM's face.
@ppkarwasz, I suggest closing this PR.
