Personal Website 2.0

AshlynChapman.com

Ghost CMS is deployed on Heroku. Ghost provides a clean interface for me to publish and manage my writing. Using Ghost's API, I can get access to my writing to display on my website.

The code that you see on the live website is written using the Next.js library (based on React.js) and deployed on Vercel.

These two deployment methods allow me to host my site for free.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
