I have been using https://peartree.live/ for the first time today, running on a Windows 11 machine where IT policies reject installing applications without authorisation (so using the Desktop App is not straightforward). I have previously used the FigTree application on macOS.
Running under Microsoft Edge Version 151.0.4129.107 (Official build) (64-bit).
I have tested multiple Newick trees with 25 entries, 75 entries, and more. In all cases the top and bottom entries are cropped, usually half or perhaps just over half of the text is visible. Example:
- Download https://github.com/biopython/biopython/blob/master/Tests/Nexus/int_node_labels.nwk
- Open https://peartree.live/
- Click on open tree, select the
int_node_labels.nwk file just downloaded
- Click on "OK" to the prompt "Node labels" "This tree has labels on 26 internal node(s). What annotation name should these be stored as?"
- See screenshot, at he top above "Taxus" is an illegible entry, at the bottom below "Pinus" is another - probably starting with G.
Adjusting the Zoom via the Web App's toolbar does not help.
Exporting as PNG does not help.
Changing the tip label size makes the problem more obvious:
