Success for the past one year

  • Releasing ex_pesa, ex_ussd and at ussd and sms
  • Getting clients through community
  • Hosting Jose Valim
  • Members being consistent on Monday meetups
  • AT_EX library being used by other developers. AT_EX library has approximately 141 downloads as seen in the hex
  • Won new liveview class lead by Bruce Tate

What went wrong and things to improve on

  • There was low attendance on our last webinar held by Martin Gausby. This might be due to most of the audience not familiarising themselves with MQTT.

    • Spark interest of MQTT and IOT to our audience

  • Delay in delivering issues

    • Tag team earlier to work on a ticket to help in delivering issues early.
    • Introduce scrum to the team

Video platform

We shall switch from meets to zoom. The major reason is that we will be recording the session and zoom has a platform for that.

Transparency

This was majorly raised in concern of how we relate and work together as a community. Community guidelines shall be updated, to guide us through.
