Welcome to the Noise Music System!

I am an old school music lover - I keep my mp3 files on my local disk drive. I'm also a software architect.

Several times throughout my career I have pushed those two interests together - usually by developing software to manage my music collection while learning the latest technology. My first attempts were in the days of MFC and then WinForms. Neither were notable or worked well - other than to help my understanding of those technologies. Somehow it all worked when I set out with WPF and C# over ten years ago. Both database and application architecture had come a long way since my last attempt. Having achieved a working system for myself I have decided to publish my work as an open source project while I continue to refine it further.
