Both Pangolin and Nextclade can classify sequences according to recombinant lineage XM.
In one of the courses a participant mentioned that they noticed one of their samples was assigned lineage XM when running the nextclade web app, but not by using the Pangolin web app. It's the same tool, why different results?
We didn't know the answer - possibly Nextclade is doing something more in the background?
In any case, it may be good to add a note about recombinants in the Lineages section.
