[Feature] - Builder Tools - Tool Compass

Feature

• “Develop on Cardano” section now introduces Tool Compass directly on the Developer Portal.

Additional Changes

• “Add your tool” CTA was moved from the hero to the search bar area. New devs now land on educational content first.

Since the search bar is already a high-attention zone, placing the CTA next to it improves both visibility and contextual relevance.

In spite of my #1612 (review) I had to build this one locally ✅ just to see how it looked 😅 ... I think it's especially encouraging for builders arriving for the first time from other blockchains.

One question on cardano-tool-compass — do its portfolio members have the same kind of review process to add & remove them, or are they curated confidentially?

Hey @rphair, just saw your comment about tool-compass, it’s open source (just a Typeform-like list) and very much a first iteration. It’ll need community input to evolve, but happy to have something like this as a starting point.

I can't approve this for PR for the following reasons:

• the tool is great on the CF website for a more general audience. On the developer portal this could just be a markdown page.
• we are using a "call to action"-button to drive traffic to external website.
• maintenance part: Robert touched on this already, people also need to add their tool now to different repo. What is the review process there etc.

On a positive note I likey the UI with this button and we can use it to link to a detailed markdown that is in the portal, easy to maintain, easy to go multilange, easy for AI to discover etc.

The compass tool can be a tool added to builder tools (on an eye level with all the other tools there).
