EchoLink-Moodle-Plugin

The purpose of this Echo360 Moodle Plugin is to support end-user linkage of Echo360 content in Moodle LMS.

The EchoLink Moodle Plugin is designed to complement the existing integration methods between the EchoSystem Server and Moodle LMS, namely the EchoBlock Plugin and LTI.

Installation Instructions

1. Click on the Download Zip button from the https://github.com/ztan-echo360/EchoLink-Moodle-Plugin
2. Transfer the zip to the Moodle host serve extract the zip
3. Copy the echolink folder from within the extracted zip to the {Moodle Installation Home}/mod/ folder.
4. Login as a Moodle Administrator and approve the plugin's installation
5. Set the EchoLink's configuration details (using the Trusted System Key/Secret details from your ESS).
6. Click Save.

Usage Instructions

1. Select a Moodle Course
2. Go into Edit Mode for the Moodle Course
3. Click on a particular week within the Moodle Course
4. Click Add, and select the EchoLink option.
5. Click on the ESS Course / Section options to select the Section's ECP link, or individual Presentation link to add to the Moodle Course.
6. Click Save.
7. Test the saved link within the Moodle Course.
