Working agents stop in the middle of the floor instead of walking to a desk #524

Description

@bramerth

What happens: agents that are actively working don't walk to a desk. They stop wherever they happen to be on the floor and work from there. Their action bubbles are live (using Read, using Bash, using Edit), so they are busy, but the sprites are standing in corridors and around the conference table.

Expected: a working agent walks to a free desk, sits in the chair and works at the computer. Only Michael does this now ("awaiting", at his desk in the top-left office).

In the screenshot I have open right now:

  • One agent (using Edit) is standing in the narrow doorway/corridor between the top-left office and the conference room.
  • Two agents (using Bash, using Read) are standing at the head of the conference table, not in its chairs.
  • One agent (using Read) is standing to the right of the conference table, next to an armchair.
  • One agent (two stacked using Bash bubbles) is standing on top of the third desk in the first row, over the monitor, instead of in its chair.

Meanwhile all 12 desks in the open-plan area and the 4 desks in the top-right office are empty. There is plenty of room; they just don't go there.

This isn't one stray agent: every agent on the floor except Michael is off a desk at the same time.

Environment: macOS 26.6.2; the app bundle reports 0.4.6.
