+Finite element simulations from civil engineering are combined with [scinetific raytracing](https://github.com/cherenkov-plenoscope/merlict_development_kit) from particle physics. Together, the mechanical structure of the novel cable-robo-mount is investigated using its optical performance as a feedback.
