A handy tool to explore and know more about the political leaders in your region.
2020 being the election year, I thought of making a tool, so that I can get to know about the American Politics. So Know Your Government is a modern android App, to explore the at present political leaders in your region. Not only in your region or county but any part of the entire United States. For any U.S. residential address, you can look up who represents that address at each elected level of government.
The App lets you enter an address to look up the corresponding district at each level of government and the names, address, contact and social media properties for the elected officials in those districts.

This is an Android Application, Apologies iOS users (and Windows users).

This app works great with Android Oreo (API 26) and above.

The App requires location permission, to automatically detect your present location.

The App will not detect location out of the United States, Don't worry, you can always search for any address in United States, not necessarily being in the US.

Know Your Government is powered by Google Civic API, thus the correctness of data is limited to the data provider.

Google Civic API provides only 25000 API requests per day per free account. If the app is out of request you can simply wait for the another day or may be try upgrading to premium!
To be 100% transparent:
- Know Your Government does not and will never collect user information in terms of user privacy.
- I will not track your IP.
- No personal data or files will be sent to me or any third parties.
I might use analytics tools to collect basic usage data such as how many times the program has been downloaded.
