This is the project wiki for the specification of the Canonical Text Services protocol, currently in version 5.0.rc.2. It is coordinated with version 1.0.rc.1 of the ctsvalidator, a servlet to run a suite of tests on a running CTS installation.

Plans for development

We plan a third release candidate for version 5.0 taking in to account all suggestions, comments and experience with working installations of CTS 5.0 systems.

We intend to coordinate all future releasesthe CTS protocol with parallel releases of the ctsvalidator servlet.
