This is the home of the Civic Tech DC Project Guide, a guide to the software and tools we use for projects, both in the technical sense and for project management. This can also be used as a reference for the tools you will want to set up for new projects that Civic Tech DC will be undertaking.
The sidebars on the right contain the basic categories of tools that Civic Tech DC uses. They are:
- Communications (Slack, Workflows, Bookmarks)
- Project Management (GitHub Projects, GitHub Issues)
- Code (GitHub Repositories, Pull Requests, GitHub Wiki)
- Deployment (GitHub Actions, Amazon Web Services)
These wiki pages will mainly cover best practices regarding these tools, practices specific to Civic Tech DC, and how to decide what tools you want to use. They will not cover the basics of using those tools, although they may link to other documentation describing such.
