The
shell.nixfile provides a reproducible development shell with all necessary dependencies to build the project, and only building 'AppImage' allows for people outside of Debian (or its derivatives) to build the project successfully (otherwise you get 'fpm not found' error)Someone else can edit the PR to fix the logic for Debian, I wasn't willing to spend more time fixing it since AppImages are enough in my opinion, and cuz I'm biased since I don't use it :p
