Problem

GitHub shows "Other" in the license badge because BSL 1.1 isn't in their SPDX database. This looks unprofessional and hurts discoverability.

Solution

Added SPDX-License-Identifier: BUSL-1.1 header to the LICENSE file. This is the standard machine-readable identifier for Business Source License 1.1.

Validation

  • License file still renders correctly on GitHub
  • Automated SPDX/SBOM tooling can now detect the license type

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Updated license header in LICENSE file.

GitHub does not recognize BSL 1.1 natively and displays 'Other' in the
repo sidebar. Adding the SPDX identifier improves discoverability and
makes the license type clear to automated tooling and visitors.
