Chunk Loader

As requested, the chunk loader is finally here! The chunk loader keeps the chunk its in loaded while its active. It consumes fuel in the form of blazing nether stars (notably, they cost a nether star and enchanted iron ingot to craft). One blazing nether star will activate the chunk loader for 1 hour.

Blazing nether stars can be added to a chunk loader by right clicking. Right clicking a chunk loader with any other item will show you whether or not its active (and for how long).

Recover

Recover is a new enchantment that will automatically mend tools as they are used with the player's experience. Durability is only recovered with experience as it is used, and mending must also be on the item for recover to function. It can only be obtained at spawn with a sapphire trade.

Chaos Orb

Chaos orb is an item that stores 5000 XP points in one item. When right clicked, it adds 5000 XP to the player. Chaos orbs can be obtained by drinking honey bottles when you have at least 5000 XP. Drinking a honey bottle will remove 5000 XP from the player and give a chaos orb.

Chaos orbs can also be compacted into exalted and divine orbs.

Minor Changes and Fixes

• Max rail speed has been increased from 136 m/s to 204 m/s when using asphalt
• Decompator upgrade recipe has been fixed
• Stone cutter upgrade recipe has been fixed

Payphone Upgrades

There are a few new upgrades to payphone added in this version: Stone Cutter, Compactor, and De-compactor. Each upgrade has its own separate item and a corresponding crafting recipe.

Stone Cutter

The stone cutter menu can now be accessed through Payphone if the upgrade is unlocked.

Compactor/De-compactor

If the corresponding upgrade is unlocked in the currently selected payphone, items can be compacted and/or de-compacted directly in the inventory menu. Control + Left Click on a stack of compactable items will compact it, whereas Control + Right Click will de-compact the the currently selected item.

Faster Minecarts

To make minecarts useful, there are now ways to increase their speed dramatically. For minecarts to travel faster, they must fulfill the following conditions:

1. There is a mob or player in the minecart;
2. The minecart is powered by powered rails; and,
3. The blocks directly below the rails are in the table below.

Asphalt is a new custom block that's meant just for powering the fastest form of long-distance transit. It is a bit tougher than gravel, and can be mined with a shovel.

Rainmaker Rework

Due to server hardware limitations, rainmaker isn't feasible with a large player count using it continuously. Beginning this patch, rainmaker no longer functions. To replace it, there is a new item, Package, that acts as a firework rocket that will never run out. Package allows for the flight duration setting to be toggled between 1 and 4 (Shift + Right Click), and randomly drops from Drowned at a 1/420 rate. Rainmaker books no longer drop from drowned.

Currency Items

Some new and experimental currency items have been added. Currently, they have no use and have their value pegged to the diamond at 1d = 128$. However, in the future, they may be used for other player-to-player trade, player-to-server trade, mob drops, and more.

The smallest currency unit is the "Sapphire Fragment" (worth 1 $apphire), but can be compacted 5 more times up until a "Sapphire Cube" through a compactor.

At world spawn, a villager will allow converting between sapphire and diamond, but may be updated/removed in a later update.

Amethyst + LibGUI

Both of these mods, which previously had to be installed separately, are now bundled with Mango, so will not require manual updates in the future. Make sure to delete the currently installed versions of the mod, though.

Other Changes

• Compactor/De-compactor textures have been improved.
• The custom rarity calculator for vanilla items now match the rarity of contained enchantments.
