Summary of Changes

Hello @shapateriya, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request refines the logging configuration within the NCES data import scripts by replacing hardcoded numerical verbosity levels with the more descriptive logging.INFO constant. This change standardizes the approach to setting logging levels, making the code easier to understand and maintain, and ensuring consistent logging behavior across the affected scripts.

Highlights

  • Logging Configuration: Updated the logging.set_verbosity calls in three NCES import scripts to use the explicit logging.INFO constant instead of the magic number 2. This improves code readability and maintainability by using symbolic constants for logging levels.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request updates the logging verbosity setting in three scripts, replacing a magic number with a named constant logging.INFO. This improves code readability. However, this also changes the effective logging level from DEBUG to INFO, which may be an unintended side effect. I have added comments to each file to highlight this and suggest using logging.DEBUG if the original, more verbose logging behavior is desired.
