NE Wisconsin TIME Community Website

The NE Wisconsin TIME community is a network of Technologists, Innovators, Makers and Entrepreneurs, like-minded and complementary-minded people who live in 18 counties of northeast Wisconsin. They can be briefly described as ‘doers’ and are sometimes called ‘creatives,’ ‘people who don’t watch much tv’ or ‘participants, not spectators.’

The longterm purpose of the website is to:

  • provide useful information to TIME community members
  • connect TIME community members
  • increase the number of TIME community members
  • develop "creatives community" open source website that can be forked and used around the USA and globally

The short term method of collaborating on the alpha website development is:

  • primarily work remotely and progress asynchronously (only meet occasionally in-person)
  • use GitHub and issues
  • recruit additional team members
