AD Groups for Mac

This is a freeware to manage members of Active Directory groups. It can be used to add or remove AD users from groups.

Setup

Edit settings

Insert your settings:

• LDAP URL: URL to your LDAP instance, eg. ldaps://my-ldap-host.com:636
• LDAP base path: Base to search for objects, eg. OU=MyDepartment,DC=MyCompany,DC=com
• LDAP user: User to login, eg. MyUser
• Login name: Login name, eg. [email protected]
• Login password: Password to login

Export and import settings

You can export and import your settings (without credentials) to a json file to share them with others.

Troubleshooting

You can reset all settings with the following command

defaults delete com.different.technology.AD-Groups-for-Mac
