NAME

play_genre - Play Roon Library Genre

SYNOPSIS

play_genre [ GENRE ] [ EXGENRE ]

DESCRIPTION

Plays the Roon Library genre named GENRE. Search for Roon Library genres whose name contains the case-sensitive string GENRE. If there is a match on the search substring then play_genre will play the first genre that matches. If more than one Roon Library genre name matches the search substring then play_genre will return a list of matching genre names.

COMMAND LINE OPTIONS

GENRE : Provide an genre name, in quotes if it contains spaces, or a case-sensitive substring. A Roon library genre name matching the provided genre name or containing the substring will be played if a match is found.

EXGENRE : Provide a genre exclusion string, in quotes if it contains spaces. No Roon library genre names including the provided genre exclusion string will be played

EXAMPLES

play_genre Rock : Will play the Roon library genre whose name contains the string "Rock". If more than one genre name matches, it will play the first match and list all matches

play_genre Rock Pop : Will play the Roon library genre whose name contains the string "Rock" but not the string "Pop"
