I approve of these changes. However, I would recommend modifying the release notes to remove empty sections. In general, bugfix releases typically only contain content in the Bugfix category and the extra empty categories aren't useful.
I see that this PR...
- Updates
main_v6.1to use the most recent diff-ing logic from thedevelopbranch. - Adds release notes for 6.1.1.
- Updates the docs for the 6.1.1 bugfix release.
- Produced no failures or diffs in the GHA tests.
